Same set list as usual, just POC twice, no Warning Sign, Umbrella after Fix You, and Paradise a second time after Umbrella for Stand Up 2 Cancer. I've got to go to sleep now but I want to say before that this was an amazing gig. By far the best I've been to. Me and my friends chose to be between the X stage and the back of the Golden Circle, and that was definitely a good choice. We wanted to see the guys close but also see all the lights and fireworks. We also felt much more connected to the whole crowd, rather than having a sort of competition spirit at the front rows, about who gets the closest spot. The crowd was so amazing, I couldn't believe it.

I loved all Rihanna parts, POC twice, and Umbrella. Say what you want about Rihanna, but that was definitely something exceptional to witness. That, the whole concert filmed, and the double xylobands, and the 80,000 people there, and Paradise being played twice, it really helped to feel like this was a very special night. It was perfect fun to me, the perfect party. Thank you so much Coldplay. [thanks Lu'kaa]

I didn't know what happened but a roadie offered me a drumstick after Up In Flames!!!! And I can't describe the show, the crowd: as said Chris, it was inbelievable!!! It was madness!!! This gig was my best Coldplay gig! [thanks Eve81]

The show was amazing. And apparently, this gonna end on a dvd... My pictures are not very good, I was quite far. I was sure Rihanna would be there as I heard she was in Paris. And when POC started, I knew I was right. With two glowbands, the result was quite impressive. Really magic. They had to restart Princess of China. Rihanna had to leave the stage and then reappeared. And Chris was like "Yeah! One more song with RIHANNA!" When Rihanna sang Umbrella, that was really cool. Chris sang some of the "ella" parts. They played Paradise twice too! Look at what Phil twitted : "paris - loudest sexiest crowd of the whole tour. you're going to look so beautiful in the film. PH". Yay! [thanks angedediamant]

Incredible night. Well worth all the trouble I've been through to get there. I still can't believe it happened. I am sorry my review will probably be messy and not very well written, but I am exhausted and I don't want to wait to write it, to keep things fresh. First I'll start by saying that I love Coldplay even more now. I am definitely going to a concert again (even simply to have a different point of view and experience than I had tonight). Sad that I'll have to wait at least 3 years, I guess, but it's okay, because I am absolutely 100 % sure I'll be there. Just give me the date and place

I got to the venue at about 7 am. I met Claire for the first time, then I went to my gate (R). A few people were already waiting : they had slept there or went there very early (4am). I was joined later by Mounira, who I had sold my 2nd ticket to. I also met Ichrak (is that how you spell your name ? ) and other fans. Great people the Coldplay fans It was freezing and raining in the morning, but it got sunny and quite hot in the afternoon Claire & I met again several times and we wandered around to try to see the stage, and the roadies at work. We totally fangirled together, that was fun! In the afternoon, the soundcheck last something like 2 hours. We heard PoC perhaps 8 times, Charlie Brown, 42 and Strawberry Swing, and MX/HLH (fans started singing along, that was great ! )Ugh, WHEN ARE YOU PERFORMING 42 AND STRAWBERRY SWING AGAIN ? WHEN, COLDPLAY ? Whenever I heard Chris mumbling something I'd go into fangirl mode, I was dazzled:dazzled : There is something about his voice...*sigh* The Stade de France isn't a well organized venue, and the queues aren't organized with barriers. They made the first rows step back, about 1 hour before opening the gates. A mess. But even before that, everyone stood up at one moment, for no apparent reason but because about 10 of us were standing at the same moment

I got the spot I wanted : front row, middle of the ramp, Jonny's side (don't have enough energy to celebrate it right now haha). The minutes before the gates opened were the longest of my life. Then everything happened so fast, I managed to run then slow down when security was yelling at me, I focused on the stairs (those damn steps are big and low, so if you're not careful you're sure to fall) then I ran on the pit, following another Coldplayer to the spot I had wanted all this time. I threw myself on the barrier. That was it, I was front row at my first Coldplay show. BAM. Needless to say I couldn't stop saying : I can 't believe it !! and I was shaking

Most of the security guards on my side didn't know Coldplay and didn't seem happy to be there, especially during Marina & the Diamonds. But when Coldplay were on stage, it was another story They were quite intrigued : the guard in front of me filmed the stadium when the xylobands were flashing, and took pictures Another one climbed on the barrier for a minute when they were on the C-stage, to try to see them. We barely could, btw. They were really too far.

Amazing atmosphere inside the stadium. Several consecutive waves accross the stadium, sometimes literally everyone in the venue would stand up. That was amazing to see. Lots of Viva chants as well. Anyway, great atmosphere. I was next to Mounira, with whom I had waited almost all day, but also a couple of Americans (who came from Texas – reminded me of you Joel (DundahMifflin) ) and some Italians. One of them reminded me of Kristal by the way! (although she didn't chear for Jonny much). We had fun sometimes during the concert together. Great power of music, spontaneously bringing people together.

Marina & the Diamonds was...interesting. I liked her very much, she was very confident and is a good support slot, imo. However I'm not particularly interested in her right now, and sometimes her postures, that reminded me of Academy Awards' Angelina Jolie's, and that fake hamburger she took with her for a song made her look pretty weird. Once, she also bent back like Chris does. I've seen him doing that so many times on photos and videos that I wasn't really impressed by her move :dozey :lol :

2 September 2012 - Stade de France, Paris, France (photo: Sound Of Violence)

I saw & screamed HOPPY while the roadies were...roady-ing before the concert, but the only ones who heard me were the people next to me, who looked at me like I was a crazy person...I saw all the roadies I knew the name of!!!Hoppy, Matt (oh, so many times, and he played some guitar and I know from the book that sometimes he can't help feeling a bit like a rockstar, and I was smiling thinking about that), Bash, Miller (taking like 3hours for the diaporama haha ! Can't wait to see how it looks). Mounira knew one of the roadies, the one who is in charge of the fireworks, and he came to talk to her ofr a few minutes! It was so cool and he was nice and funny ! I really enjoyed watching the roadies working Sadly I didn't see that much recognition for the roadies (except for the one who kept walking on the ramp and everywhere on stage, because he had to check if the little box thingies were working well – that man ended up getting a good part of the golden pitch clapping, screaming : Woooo!!!and raising their hands when he was walking past us, haha). I saw Phil from quite far. He is so handsome ohmygod Claire got his autograph!!!! Someone managed to hand him the fanbook from ColdplayCorner, idk if some of you have heard of it, but to be short : IF ANY OF THEM DARE TO OPEN IT, THEY MAY READ WHAT I WROTE , WHICH INCLUDES A SENTENCE ABOUT CHRIS' FLOWERY SHIRT, REFERENCES TO THE JONNY GOES JAZZ VIDEO, THE QUESTION : ARE C&J SECRETLY MARRIED ? AND SHOWS OBSESSION OVER CAR KIDS. It also includes a letter about me taking opportunities thanks to their music, and it would mean a lot if at least one of them would read it.

Now, I'm gonna get all fangirl and I am sorry for that. You can skip this part/ call me shallow if you want for thinking those things are that important. I HELD EYE CONTACT WITH CHRIS TWICE DURING THE CONCERT !!!!!!!!!! Some parts of the concert are already quite blurry in my mind, but I'm pretty sure the first one was during his moves during IMP. He looked at me with a look...omg that was so hot. So hot. So so so hot. I was so dazzled. HAY LOOK AT WHAT I JUST FOUND IN MY CAMERA. Spoiler .. THAT'S RIGHT THAT'S RIGHT THAT'S HIM AND HIS EYES ARE LOOKING AT MY CAMERA That was the beginning of the moment during which he looked at me.

The second time was during ETIAW (I believe ). He was going down the ramp. He held eye contact with 1 or 2 fans for a few seconds, and then it was my turn I was singing with all my voice (well, what was left of it, haha!) and my eyes were wide open and I'm pretty sure I looked damn happy. Then he looked me in the eyes for several seconds, with his eyes wide open as well. Those 2 moments felt like the best moments of my life. It's like my brain took a picture of them (except for that pic I just showed you, I didn't take photos during those moments). During GPASUYF, when he went on the ramp he saw the fan next to me with a sign that read « Coldplay put a smile upon our face » and he smiled, but...how do I say that...you could see he truly appreciated it.

OTHER FANGIRL MOMENT : HE CHANGED SHIRTS TWICE. Boy was I happy. Dazzled fangirl was dazzled. Yummy yummy yummy. Oh, and we saw his back and his chest and his abs . Sadly it happened quite fast both times and it was already over when I was ready to take a picture. Sorry girls I saw curls Damn, he looks as yummy in real life as in pictures. He is so handsome. Also, I couldn't help but notice his perfectly shaped booty. Like omg. Chris pronounced several sentences in French, at the beginning of the concert. !! His French is still very good !!

BUCKIN MOMENTS : Quite a lot of them as usual, you'll see them in the videos on the Internet, as I didn't take any video. At the end of IMP, when Chris showed us how flexible he is, as he was lying on the ground next to Jonny, who was still rocking the guitar, standing up, the song was coming to an end and the last « oh yeah » was about to happen, Chris grabbed Jonny's ankle ( ) to make him understand he wanted him to sing, and then Jonny & Chris reached out, and sang the « oh yeah » together. My pics aren't great, but I do have a photo that Tracie or Kristal, to name a few, will, I believe, quite appreciate You'll see it with the pics I'll post next. Oh, and Chris spoke to Jonny in his ear once or twice I think, AND, during the GPASUYF « mating dance », at one moment, from my point of view, it definitely looked like they were so close they were about to kiss.

Now, about the concert itself : I'll start with the downsides, as there were a few. First, and the most important one : we got 2 PoCs but no Warning Sign. They soundchecked PoC so many times, now I don't want to hear it anymore for a while. 10 times in a day is enough for me. Also, I would have loved to get a song in the style of Warning Sign, and we didn't get any that night. Second, CHRIS FOR GOD SAKE STOP FAKING A MISTAKE (he did that at the beginning of...ugh was it SoS or UATW ? Anyway, there was no reason to, and I don't understand because to me it felt like the audience was already really into it...). Then, about that PoC peformance again : those two acted like in the video and got incredibly close, I was maaad The first time it was Rihanna's initiative, but the second time was Chris'! He put his hand on her arm and their faces touched and ugh I thought : Oh no you didn't ! Aaaand I think that's it for the downsides haha

2 September 2012 - Stade de France, Paris, France (photo: Sound Of Violence)

I had an amazing time. Chris' voice was perfect, GPASUYF, as I expected, was CRAZY, really, all the songs were...damn, I can't find my words. It was so incredible. I think the crowd was very loud, but I need confirmation for that, as I was on the floor, so I may not have an accurate idea. But honestly, it felt like we were really loud. We totally nailed The Scientist, I think it was the best crowd chant of the night, with the Viva chant perhaps or In my place. The band looked happy, and the few times Chris talked to us was to say how amazing we were being (I know, he says that every time...but still). However I didn't feel like Will, Guy and Jonny got enough recognition from the crowd, at least near I was, that's too bad. Will hit the drums real hard and his voice was great. I screamed WOOO GO JONNY at pretty much all of his solos (but he didn't hear it), and he was very confident on stage, he moved a lot, that was awesome ! Guy smiled a lot, he seemed to enjoy the concert, and on the x-stage I noticed he was discretely moving his hips to the music My eyes got locked on that for about 20 seconds.

I had listened to the livestream on August 28th, and had followed closely the setlists on this tour, yet I was surprised ! Indeed, for the first half of the concert, I wasn't sure of the order of the songs, so I got indeed surprised. Plus, for the surprises, we had the very lovely and honestly great duet between Chris and Rihanna, on the song Umbrella. Everyone sang with them. I think she had a great voice ! Much better than what I had heard at the Grammys ! I didn't hear her very well on PoC though (the crowd's screams were too loud ). The other surprise was that Paradise got played twice, the second time was for Stand up to cancer. Weird, because they already had recorded a few days ago in Stockholm. Maybe they want to pick moments from both shows ? A funny thing happened during UATW, you'll see in the videos, as Will got a smashed balloon on his face hahaha. During ETIAW, fans threw a Coldplay-customised French flag on stage, and Chris picked it up and raised it at the appropriate moment It was so awesome to see

The xylobands in action, the lasers during Clocks and the confetti were for me, with the Chris moments (OMG HE LOOKED ME IN THE EYES, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT ? ), the most memorable moments. I have those images in my head, I remember thinking : HOLY SHIT I can't believe this. I had never seen anything like it, it was really wonderful. When I noticed the lasers on Clocks, it reminded me of MTV Storytellers : Will said that the first time he saw them, he nearly fell off his stool. Tonight I thought : wow I totally understand !!!

I know that a concert is supposed to be about the music. Tonight, it still was, as the songs were all amazingly performed. But this was my first Coldplay concert, and it was in the Stade de France, with about 75000 people. I really enjoyed it, but I guess a first is quite different from the others. What I mean by that is that your brain is trying to figure out the hell that's happening, it is realizing that all of this is real and that you are indeed seeing your idols performing live. There were just too many things for me to handle, and the process got me striken by the effects more than by the music (that was still really amazing). I did not cry, but the moments I was the most close to were when I was thinking : OMG I cannot believe I am not seeing this through a screen, that I am living all this. It blew my mind. As a result, brief moments of pure enjoyment of music (right now I have a moment of LiJ stuck in my head, 2 minutes ago it was MX) and some loud crowd moments share my memory with some incredible visual effects. You know what I mean?

To conclude, I'd like to talk more about Chris' interaction with the crowd, and that fangirl moment I had. I know he always says the same thing, always acts the same, always behaves the same. I wish he had talked a bit more, but I wasn't expecting that, as I knew how special that concert was for the tour (longer and with Rihanna). The truth is, he didn't really need to talk more to the crowd to create a connection. The second star of the show wasn't Rihanna, it was us. I'm pretty sure many people there felt it. When during ETIAW he sang with his eyes locked on me for a few seconds, I knew that I wasn't the first and last one who got that eye contact, and that it didn't mean anything (I didn't manage to kidnap him so we can run away together btw ).Yet, he made me feel special. For a few seconds the world didn't exist, it was just me & him singing. He noticed how happy I was and multiplied it by 1000 and seeing the expression on my face, on any fan's face, must be priceless. I bet that's why he does it all the time. He does what he can to make the fans happy and make them feel special, even if it's just an acknowledgement. I don't care not being actually special, at least he acted like I was, and that's more than enough. [thanks Coeurli]

2 September 2012 - Stade de France, Paris, France (photo: Sound Of Violence)

Yesterday morning, I was too excited (who would believe that? ) I couldn't believe I was going to see COLDPLAY !!!

My parents, my sister and me left home at 8.30 and we arrived nearly 4 hours later in Saint Denis near Paris. As soon as we arrived I saw the huuuge Stade de France. Butterflies in my stomach. They were there. Our hotel was just across the street. I was so excited, almost shaking. I knew we were going to be filmed but mah lovely girls (yeah you know who you are !! ) told me via whatsapp that each person would have two xylobands !!!!! 160 000 xylobands in da house!! I was so thrilled. From our hotel room, we heard everything that happened in the stadium and they were currently playing AC DC, always the same song.

Then, suddenly, I heard Charlie Brown ! They were soundchecking!! But no, actually it was a recorded version. Every box outside the stadium played a different Coldplay song and I was so delighted to be surrounded by so much Coldplay music, it made me even more excited if that was possible. XD I really wanted to go queuing but my family didn't. I secretely still hoped I could have front row... I desperately wanted a good spot, that's soo important for me but they obviously do not understand. At one point, the drums and guitars were being tested at the stadium. We finally decided that I would go queuing and my family would come afterwards for the opening of the gates.

So I made myself ready, wore my selfmade top with badges! I first went to the gate G to meet Claire (Clairounette)! So happy to have met youuu ! After our chat I went to my gate Z. It was 3.30 pm. I met a nice woman who wasn't too familiar with the band and we waited together. After some time, the REAL soundcheck began. They played PoC 4 or 5 times maybe more, at the beginning without Rihanna and then she joined ! Chris's voice!! They also rehearsed 42 !!, Strawberry Swing, UATW very briefly and GPASUYF very briefly, too and a new piano thing I hadn't heard before. I first thought it was a new song but it may have been Umbrella. We also heard Run this town by Rihanna. and other things. We heard Chris talking And he said thank you everybody. I don't know if there were people there or if he only said it as a warm-up! Then they were only doing a few adjustments with guitars and drums.

Somehow at 5 pm everyone jumped up and rushed up to the gates. I did the same although the doors were only set to open 1 hour later. So now everyone was standing and it was awfully hot. No one knew why we were standing. 20 mins after 6, the doors finally opened and the big pushing began. I got my two xylobands!! I waited to see my family but they were not there yet. So I ran to the pitch, trying to find a good spot, I was looking for the c stage as I saw that the front row and x stage was in 'pelouse or' and that the spots were not available. You couldn't even get there from my gate. A security guy told us not to run. I stopped but ran again! I didn't find the c stage, began to panic: where the flying fuck is it? I even asked a security guy but he had no clue.

So i ran to the middle of the pitch, arrived two or three meters behind a big camera. I was not that far away from the stage but I wouldn't see anything with the camera and the people. My family called me: they had found the c-stage! So I left my spot but i had to go a long way back through a lot of people who were moaning and complaining about me. (Sorry but I didn't take your spot people, I only left, SO YOU ACTUALLY HAD MORE SPACE, you see?!) I finally found my parents. And we were front row c stage. I was soooo happy.

We had such a nice security guy! We waited there. It was so exciting. Then it was Marina's time. We didn't have a very good view of the main stage. But the screens were there. Luckily. She was very good. Better than Emeli Sandé. Marina sings so well live. She hits every note perfectly. She told us 3 times who she was haha. And she asked us to. Then she went away. And then I waited for Miller to take his panorama pic. I raised my arm with Claire's red balloon she gave me, but Miller took so long for his pics...

We did a lot of Mexican waves and screamed. I thought Coldplay were on at 9.30 but I heard 99 problems at 9.10 or something like that. And i was like OMG OMG OMG OMG there it is. And then back to the future. Tears were already coming. The moment I had been looking forward to for 9 months had finally arrived. At the first notes of MX a lot of tears were running down my face. The boys are here!!!

2 September 2012 - Stade de France, Paris, France (photo: Sound Of Violence)

Hurts Like Heaven was next! Chris spoke french which is one of the sexiest things ever (yeah, i'm a fangirl... ) Then IMP, Buckin love, it was so freaking beautiful. Then Major Minus and Chris' speech. Mostly in French AGAIN. That he was so happy to be here. 'je suis tres honoré...' awwwwh MM kicked ass. Woow. And we had to show our beautiful french hands. And also make some proper fuckin parisian noise! (he swears a lot - bad boy - ^^)

Lovers in Japan. Gorgeous, beautiful. The balloons. And Chris' outro on the piano was so so so beautiful. The security man gave me some confetti, so nice!! The Scientist. My handkerchief song. This song is just pure beauty. I can't describe it. Beyond words. And the ooooh ooooh bit at the end. Amazing. Next was Yellow. The piano intro is just fantastic, so moving, so beautiful. And the song itself. Wonderful. Violet hill. Was so powerful and beautiful. I love it so so much. Then GPASUYF. Gaah this song is just pure power. Woooow.

PoC was very good actually. Rihanna did sing well in my opinion!! We got PoC twice. No idea why. Chris said this time we should make even more noise.Chris said "well that was fuckin amesome for me!!! " or something along those lines. Then UIF. It was so beautiful too. And then DLIBYH. It was the first time i saw it live. Magical and the big heart balloons were amazing ! Viva. It was so huge and great. So many emotions!! The sing along was priceless ! Charlie Brown and the Xylobands. It looked just so freaking beautiful. I loved it so much. Paradise was awesome. I really prefer it live. A huge sing along as well. You could tell Chris was happy to be there. ♥

Afterwards there was a little break. I knew they were on their way to the C stage. That was my moment ! I was so on fire. Omg the boys would be that near!!! The stage and all the stuff was being prepared by the roadies for the boys. And suddenly they came. 2-3 meters on my left. I was screaming my heart out. Then Chris walked first onstage !! He was cheering, saying thank you. Oh boy he was two meters away from me. He's really even better looking in reality. He started UATW, so beautiful. The others were all standing there, waiting to come onstage. The next was Will. He got a big welcome. Jonny and Guy were the next. I was screaming their names like a mad person as each of them walked on stage. I had a backview. But they turned around, mostly Chris, but Will couldn't as he was on the piano . Chris looked into the audience. His happy face lit up and he smiled. And then he finally looked in our in MY direction. omg. I was screaming, waving at him and clapping. Just unbelievable.

2 September 2012 - Stade de France, Paris, France (photo: Sound Of Violence)

Then SoS. Wooow such a beautiful acoustic version. Chris had to start again as he had fucked up the beginning. The mistake wasn't too obvious. And there was a balloon coming towards the stage and bursted right in Will's face. That was so funny and Jonny and Guy laughed. Chris didn't notice it. The song was great. And Chris went to talk to Will and then Guy and Will left. Chris played the guitar a little bit with J. Aaaaand they left. Then Clocks bursted. Waaah that song really has something. mamamamamadness by Muse during the song. Lol (some people say Matt Bellamy and Kate Hudson were there)

Then Fix You. I knew there was only one song left and I couldn't help but feel a little bit sad. Fix You was emotional and beautiful. At one point, Chris also said that we would be filmed and that we're gonna look so great in the film. After Fix You I thought 'okay now etiaw and then it's over'. But suddenly Chris said 'Would you please welcome the incredible -i don't know what he said exactly anymore- Of the United states of Barbados Robyn Rihanna Fenty !!' Rihanna! Again! Chris began to play on the piano. And I soon recognized Umbrella. It was kinda beautiful. She sang pretty well. But Chris' piano playing struck me. Astonishing... Then she left.

And then I thought ' Okay NOW ETIAW and over'. But Chris said :'now we have one more surprise, one more thing, we have two songs left, and the next it's for a tv show called stand up to cancer' and he described it. I really didn't expect that!!! They had already filmed it in Stockholm. He said they'd play Paradise again and if we could please make even more noise for this one and sing along. And then he said his tv text. And they played Paradise again.

Then it really was ETIAW's turn. It was wonderful. I didn't want them to gooooo. It had been so perfect. Chris said he thought it was their best crowd ever or something like that and he seemed so happy. He thanked us again! Then they took a bow as always. Thanked the crowd and went away. It was over! Yeah. I was astonished, stunned. I couldn't believe what I just experienced. Oh yeah ! Chris dedicated one song to his cousin Anabel if I heard correctly I may have totally misunderstood it though. I was kinda sad that we didn't get Warning Sign. I love that song sooo much ! But our concert was long and full of surprises and the crowd was great, I believe ! [thanks m@r@]

This was my first MX concert and I was SO lucky to have been in Paris! When Rhianna came out, the crowd went wild! It took me a few seconds to realise it was really her and not just a video! And then the two xylobands, Paradise twice, umbrella and the thought that I will probably be able to buy the DVD as a souvenir of this amazing night forever! WOW! Just WOW! Thanks to all those who were there with me, making up this amazing crowd! [thanks valypan]

Capital FM: Rihanna Performs 'Princess Of China' And 'Umbrella' With Coldplay In Paris – Video

Rihanna took to the stage with Coldplay last night (2nd September) for a live performance of their collaborative single 'Princess Of China'. The 'You Da One' star made a surprise appearance at the event as the band brought their 'Mylo Xyloto' world tour to the Stade De France in Paris. Dressed in a long red geisha-like robe, the Bajan star shared the stage with the group and could be seen putting her hands upon Chris Martin's face – echoing the intimae scenes from the official music video for the track.

After the performance, Chris could be heard saying: "Thank you RiRi", as she made her way for a costume change and then joined the group to perform her smash hit 'Umbrella'. The star wore a black and white Aztec patterned figure hugging outfit for the tender and emotional version of her song with Chris on piano. You can watch Coldplay and Rihanna perform 'Umbrella' below:

The performances are expected to be released on a live DVD of the show after the band confirmed they were filming at the show. Rihanna is also rumorued to be joining Coldplay for a performance of 'Princess Of China' at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympics this month. You can watch Coldplay and Rihanna perform 'Princess Of China' below:

After the show, the 'Talk That Talk' star took to her Twitter account to profess her love for the band. She simply tweeted: "Coldplay f**** rules!!!!" [2]

JeanMarcMoradini.net: [4/5] For their first visit to the Stade de France on Sunday, the British Coldplay invited Rihanna to join them on stage during a concert of magical colors -- their latest album "Mylo Xyloto."

Coldplay is one of the few artists to have filled the Stade de France this year. And the 80,000 spectators who made the trip Sunday, the group made it big this concert they announced filming. At the entrance, the organizers have distributed tens of thousands of bracelets equipped with remote controlled diodes. When Coldplay came on stage to the sound of the title track "Mylo Xyloto," a forest of diodes pink, blue, green, orange, flashing in time with the music, lit the Stade de France.

Then fireworks, confetti, giant balloons, pink butterflies inflated with hot air have marked the concert. The euphoric effect was guaranteed, all dressed Coldplay Stade de France, stage backdrop decorations instrumentation, fluorescent colors of "Mylo Xyloto". The group largely devoted to the concert last album, which has sold 400,000 copies in France. Coldplay but also a place for classic rock anthems alternating with energy cut for stadiums ("God put a smile upon your face", "Viva la vida" ...) and melancholy tunes ("Yellow", "The Scientist" ...).

If four Britons have long been accustomed to the huge speakers, they kept reflexes Group: tight on one end of the huge C-shaped stage, they sought contact with the public, advancing steadily in the middle of pit to play a tiny amount or platform installed at the bottom of the stage. It is on one of these advances they have come together to play "Princess of China", a title of their latest album duet with Rihanna.

While Chris Martin finished the first verse, the beautiful Caribbean appeared at the bottom of the scene before joining, quietly dressed in a long red silk dress. To the delight of an incredulous audience, they returned a second time "Princess of China" before Rihanna returns to the end of the concert version stripped of his "Umbrella", accompanied by the leader of Coldplay on the piano.

A few hours earlier, the singer from Barbados has caused a stampede when she arrived in Paris before attacking her Parisian fans on social networks. It broke out on her twitter account, sending quick succession four unkind tweets: "The French are completely mabouls", "I had to fight to get out of the fucking train," she launched. [3]

Oxfam blog: Last night! Wow! Last night was the filming of the Coldplay film, some of you have already had the amazing opportunity of experience of xylo bands. A beautiful creation by one man, Jason Regler and one that was swept up by Coldplay and taken on an ever evolving, year long adventure throughout their gigs. Last night was a beautiful thing for me to witness. With the support of Oxfam France and their amazing volunteers we spoke to hundreds of Coldplay fans about our GROW campaign. After we had finishing dancing around in banana suits and talking GROW we packed up to watch the gig. This gig had a new sort of buzz to it. People were electric on a higher level than before. Perhaps it was because the sun had been shining throughout the day and was started to produce a pink and sun kissed sunset, perhaps it was because we were in Paris, the city of art and creation or perhaps it was the 80,000 people that were pouring into the stadium.

The show started with a bang. The sun had set and 160,000 wristbands lit up the arena. It was one of those special moments which will stay with you a life time! Then came the really exciting moment, when Princess of China started to play and Rihanna entered centre stage behind the boys who were out on the x stage in the crowd. She walked down to join them and together they sang the melodies of a song that brings international pop music to a new level, the song that has an aura of connectivity. This married with the wristbands provided an illustration of what Coldplay do best… Bring people together, with the 80,000 audience plus the crew, who stood out backstage to watch. It’s the story of this tour for me I guess, being all over the world but connecting and sharing stories with Oxfammers all over the world. Thank you Coldplay for a night I won’t forget…ever! [4]

HyperMusic-Aliveen: Passing by the Stade de France Stadium with their tour, Coldplay delivered a concert that will remain forever etched in the annals, magnificent from the beginning to the end! The band's performance was there but it is mostly the atmosphere that broke records. Besides, on Twitter Phil Harvey, the fifth member of the band raved: "Paris - Loudest sexiest crowd of the whole tour. You're going to look so beautiful in the film. PH ». In fact, last night's concert was filmed for the creation of a DVD of the Mylo Xyloto Tour. We will thus be able to relive this wonderful evening very soon! Parallel to this, a Multicam DVD project made by fans is being prepared, do not hesitate to participate by submitting videos. Have a look on the Facebook page created for the occasion!

While waiting for these DVDs, let's go back to this unforgettable evening with these few lines. Once again the opening act was Marina & The Diamonds. If you already have visited this blog, you probably know that this was not the first time I saw Marina. Her performance was a little bit different from those of Boston and Nice, including the presence of Hypocrates and Lies. Just after Roadie # 42 took the photos that will form the panoramic picture of the concert (each night a panorama of the public is made and posted on Coldplay's website) 99 Problems by Jay-Z has sounded in the Stade de France, full of people, heralding the arrival of the band on stage.

All lights Off, Chris, Jonny, Will and Guy arrived and the stadium was immediately illuminated by the glowing wristbands given to the public. For the occasion, 160,000 Xylobands were distributed which means exceptionally two wristbands per person! Jason Regler, the inventor of these little wonders has to be proud because the depiction was breathtaking!

From the beginning of the concert things accelerated. Hurts Like Heaven, In My Place, Lovers in Japan ... Between butterflies, confetti, balloons and Xylobands the beginning of the concert announced the tone! Just before Major Minus Chris Martin spoke in French to greet the audience « Nous sommes contents d’être ici avec vous, le meilleur public du monde » and then he continued in English « We’re gonna play the best fucking concert we’ve ever play in our lives… And I hope you can be the best audience in all time and have a great fucking time ». Some would say that he says the same thing every night but yesterday we could feel a hint of truth, and this was quickly confirmed. The atmosphere was amazing, everyone sang, jumped, clapped non-stop, it was nice to see! The biggest fans had doubts, the surprise yesterday was the exceptional presence of Rihanna who played Princess of China with the band. All dates together, it was the first time this happened. The atmosphere then reaches its climax, we barely could hear Rihanna sing so the audience was singing and screaming!

I'm not a big fan of Rihanna but I loved it. So much better than when the song is performed with her on the big screens ! She was humble and discreet, almost shy to be the center of attention. We had a double dose as they performed the song twice! After an intimate Up In Flames in the center of the stadium, the pace accelerated. First Don't Let It Break Your Heart and Viva La Vida. Coldplaycorner (the website of the French Coldplay fans) had planned a flashmob but in front of the general enthusiasm of the crowd for Viva La Vida, it could not be done. It's not a big deal, the main thing was to set fire to the stadium and that's what the audience did!

The Xylobands lighted up again on Charlie Brown and judging the reaction of the audience, this song is one of their favorites from Mylo Xyloto. Paradise also received a hero's welcome. But that night, I wonder what song did not triumph! As usual the band went to visit the spectators at the back of the stadium for Us Against The World and an acoustic version of Speed Of Sound. Back on the main stage they performed Clocks by making a nod to the new single of Muse, Madness. There are rumors about the presence of Matthew Bellamy and his wife, Kate Hudson in the Stade de France! As a fan of Muse (and Coldplay), I can only be delighted!

After a masterful Fix You, Rihanna came back to sing an acoutic version of Umbrella with the band, helped by the audience who sang the chorus. Then Chris Martin explained their participation in a U.S. TV show to fight against cancer with Paradise. So in addition to a double dose of Princess Of China, we had a double dose of Paradise, that night we really reached paradise! For the purposes of the TV show they chose to film Paradise in Paris, although it seems they have already attempted in Stockholm a few days ago.

The concert ended with Every Teardrop is A Waterfall which finished to set fire to the Stade de France! The stands have spent the concert standing, sign of the excellent atmosphere that evening. Chris Martin took a flag a fan was handing to him and wield it while the lyrics was: "So you can hurt, hurt me bad, but still I'll raise the flag."

Long and mutual thanks between the band and the audience ensued and the band left the Stade de France's stage. Thus ended an evening that many agree to say magnificent and unforgettable. I am pleased to have been a part it and really proud to be a Coldplayer. Throughout the evening Coldplay provided a liveblog on their Tumblr with photos, videos and animations. [5]
